Ciro Greco est le fondateur et président général de Tooso.ai. Détenteur d’un doctorat en linguistique et neuroscience cognitive à Milano-Bicocca, il a travaillé à titre de chercheur invité au MIT et à titre de chercheur post-doctoral à l’Université de Gand en Belgique. En 2017, il a fondé Tooso.ai, une start-up basée à San Francisco spécialisée en représentation des connaissances et en traitement automatique des langues (NLP). Tooso a été acquis par Coveo en 2019.

 

Fantastic Embeddings and how to align them : how to anticipate user language across shops in e-commerce.

How can we ensure that users are provided with the most relevant experience when they browse and search for products on e-commerce websites? The dominant players of the industry, such as Amazon or Walmart have two things that most of other companies will never have: an enormous amount of user data and users who are recurring often. Most of e-commerce companies will not have this luxury and still they have the burning need of providing a good experience to their users, an experience that gets as close as possible to the one offered by the top players. To guarantee a flexible and adaptive search and recommendations to every e-commerce company it is important to make a different use of the data and make an effort in constructing a multi-dimensional representation of the customer journey and use it across users and when possible even across shops.
